Sometimes, we receive information about you from other people, like when you play a game and your score is posted on a different site, or if you click on a "like" or a "share" button. In this case, the other website or app can share information with us.

If you do things on other websites or apps, like if you use a Facebook application, you can allow us to access your information that Facebook or the other website or app has.

We will also get information about you if someone else gives us access to their profiles on other websites or apps and you are one of their 'friends' or 'connections'.

Some of our websites, games and apps let your friends send you something. 3.  COOKIES

Cookies are tiny files that have information (data) in them. When you visit one of our websites, a cookie is placed on your computer, console or smartphone. Some games for your console will have files that work like cookies. Cookies do not hurt your device.

Cookies allow us to remember when you visit one of our websites or apps, or when you open an email. They help us understand what you are doing, as well as which parts of the website, game and apps are popular and which ones we need to make better.

We use cookies in 3 ways:

    • To do what you have asked for: for example, to keep you logged in during your visit and to make sure that the website, game or app is safe.
    • To show you adverts: for example, to count how many adverts you are shown so we can pay for this and, where you are old enough to give us permission, to help us understand your preferences to show you adverts that we think you would like.
    • To make your experience better: to understand what is popular and gets viewed the most, as well as to understand what gets viewed the least on our websites and in our emails (if you are signed up to our newsletter). Cookies give us general information about how our websites, games and apps are used (such as age, gender and interests). We also use cookies to check for bugs and glitches and to remember the choices you have made, such as your language or country because we want to make your experience better. We have helpers like Adobe and Google who help us do this. If you don’t want us to use information about your visits in this way, click here for Adobe and here for Google.

    Turning off cookies

If you are using a browser (like Internet Explorer, Chrome or Firefox) to visit our websites or to play one of our games online, you can change your cookie options using the Cookie Consent Tool.

You can also choose to turn off cookies using the browser settings on your computer, console or smartphone. This might be tricky so make sure to ask the person who looks after you to help you.

Playstation, Apple iOS and Android Devices

When you use certain apps for your PlayStation or smartphones that use Apple iOS or Android, we use cookies for different things, like to keep you logged in or to manage parental control PINs. These cookies are very important for the app to work. It is not possible to remove these cookies from the PlayStation or smartphone without deleting the app.

If you post information to a website or app, this can be seen by anyone who visits the website or app.

    Our helpers (service providers)
